Narrative Description of Project:
The Construction of a 250-bed Surgical Hospital Complex, including (Classical and Endoscopy Surgery – Gastroenterology and Diagnostic Endoscopy – Gastroenterology). The hospital is located on a plot area of 6800m2 in the health zone of Basra General Hospital in Basra City in Iraq. The Construction of the hospital consists of basement, ground and five floors and a floor between the two services and the third floor.
The Hospital main components are:
Main Entrance / Lobby – Emergency / Casualty – including 3 No. Minor OT – patient Clinics Department (OPD) – Out patient pharmacy – Imaging / X-Ray Department main – main operating room – including 5 no. Staff OT – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 12 beds Male & Female – Diagnosis Endoscopy Department – main laboratory – including blood banks – inpatient wards; – Inpatient Pharmacy – Physiotherapy Department – Administration – Continuing Medical Education (CME) – including the library – Mortuary – Medical Stores – Central Sterilization Department (CSSD) – main Kitchen – Cafeteria – rooms of plants – engineering Department – waste area. The project involves the preparation of detailed medical equipment and furniture specifications in accordance with health standards in Kuwait and Iraq.

1) Medical Planning & Conceptual Design Studies,
2) Detailed Design Studies,
3) Preparation of Tender Documents and Tender Administrative Procedures,
4) Construction Supervision & Monitoring of Monitoring of Maintenance.
